VIDEO: Huge blaze destroys garage

A FEROCIOUS fire ripped through a garage and sent smoke billowing across the sky.

The double, detached out-building was well alight when crews from Rotherham and Dearne station attended the scene.

The blaze broke out at a property on Grange Road, Rawmarsh around 3.22pm yesterday (Tuesday).

Firefighters were at the scene for around an hour and put out the flames using hose reels.

A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said the cause of the fire was accidental.
