Hide AdAssistant director for community safety and streetscene, Sam Barstow, said: “Flytipping on Field Road was reported to the council on January 6 and removed the same day.
“Flytipping isn’t just unsightly, it can also be harmful to people, animals, plants, wildlife and the environment as much of the waste that is illegally dumped is not biodegradable, may contain hazardous materials or may have been left in a place where it causes an obstruction or hazard.
“We will continue to investigate flytipping and prosecute anyone who we find to have illegally disposed of waste.”
