Town centre attack victim (16) due to leave hospital

A TEENAGE boy attacked in the town centre yesterday is expected to be discharged from hospital today.

The 16-year-old suffered head injuries in the assault on Effingham Street but his condition improved overnight.

A 32-year-old man remains in custody in connection with the incident and police have made a further appeal for witnesses.
