Thieves escape with club's rescue boat
SAILORS have been left high and dry after their rescue boat was stolen.
Members of Ulley Sailing Club discovered yesterday morning that the red boat was stolen from the boat park at Ulley Country Park.
It comes two years after the same boat was stolen and used in an attempted break-in at the London Scandinavian plant in Templeborough.
Police are investigating the latest incident and appealed for witnesses to call on 0114 220 2020 or e-mail the sailing club on commodoreulleysailingclub.org.uk.
