Teenager headbutted in assault

A TEENAGE boy was injured after he was headbutted in an assault.

The 16-year-old was attacked near a convenience store in Hepworth Drive, Swallownest, between 4.30pm and 5pm on Sunday, April 24.

He suffered facial injuries in the assault.

A 19-year-old man was interviewed under caution in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.

Now, police are asking for anyone who witnessed the assault, or has any information about it, to call 101 or email [email protected], quoting incident number 735 of April 24.
