Teenager attacked after night out

A TEENAGER suffered serious facial injuries after being attacked on his way home from a night out.

The 19-year-old needed hospital treatment following the assault on Kelvin Grove, Wombwell.

It happened on Sunday (20) after he left KG’s Sports Bar at about 12.40am.

Det Insp Stuart Hall said: “This was a nasty assault and we need your help to understand what happened.

“It was a busy Saturday night into Sunday morning, so there will have been other members of the public out enjoying their evening.

“We know the bar was relatively busy and there will have been taxis outside as well.”
