Spate of car and van fires in Wath
FIREFIGHTERS attended four vehicle fires in 40 minutes overnight in Wath.
They were called to a car fire on Church Street at 1.50am and a transit van five minutes later at Norton Road.
Shortly after 2am, a Citroen van was alight on Valley Drive and crews also dealt with a people carrier on fire on Montgomery Road at 2.30am.
All were started deliberately, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue confirmed, except the transit, which so far has no cause recorded.
