Raid on pub appeal

POLICE are appealing for information after reports of a raid at a Swinton pub.

Officers were called to the Stonehouse on Station Street at 9.10am on Saturday (1) to investigate a break-in.

A police spokesman said: “Three fruit machines, a cash machine and a number of tills have been damaged and an amount of cash taken.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 392 of June 1.
