Police tackle bother on the buses

POLICE and transport bosses in South Yorkshire have teamed up to tackle anti-social behaviour in a bid to prevent incidents on public transport, at bus stops and interchanges.

The See Something, Say Something campaign sees South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE), South Yorkshire Police, British Transport Police, and operators working together by encouraging people that witness an incident to report it.

People can anonymously report a crime by going to travelsouthyorkshire.com/safe, calling Traveline on 01709 515151, speaking to any member of staff at an interchange or information centre and reporting the incident to a bus driver or a tram or train conductor.
