Police plea after 80-year-old man found with serious injuries

Police are now appeaing for help from the public to come forward with information.

Officers were called to a property on Salisbury Road, Maltby yesterday after the man was found in a collapsed state.

He had suffered a number of injuries and remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police are currently at the scene and an investigation is underway to determine whether there are any suspicious circumstances. 

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the Salisbury Road area or saw anything suspicious over the last 48 hours.
