Police name Rotherham burglary suspect

POLICE want to speak to this man in connection with a number of burglaries in South Yorkshire.

Colin Richardson is believed to have been involved in offences in Sprotbrough and officers believe he has strong links to Carcroft, Skellow, Balby and Rotherham.

Supt Eddie Murphy said: “Burglary is a priority for South Yorkshire Police and we are actively seeking an individual who we believe is responsible for a number of offences.

“During one of the burglaries, a number of sentimental items were stolen, and we want to do everything possible to bring the offender to justice and prevent further upset and distress.”

Members of the public are asked not to approach Richardson, but to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 210 of March 1.
