Police hunt missing Thurnscoe man

POLICE officers have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of a 26-year-old man who has breached his bail conditions.

Joe Haigh, of Thurnscoe, is wanted by South Yorkshire Police on a recall to prison after breaching the conditions of his licence on July 19.

A police spokeswoman said: “Police have conducted a variety of operations and activities to locate Haigh and are now seeking the assistance of the public to help trace him.

“It’s believed he has connections in the Normanton area of West Yorkshire and in Lincolnshire, as well as in Barnsley.”

Anyone with information about Haigh’s whereabouts should contact South Yorkshire Police by dialling 101, quoting incident number 981 of July 19.
