Police hunt after teenager attacked

THREE hooded youths who attacked a 14-year-old girl as she walked to school are being sought by police.

Investigating officers have issued an appeal for help from members of the public in an effort to track down the thugs who left the teenager needing hospital treatment.

A police spokeswoman said: “At around 7.50am on Thursday, September 5, the 14-year-old girl was walking to school when she was reportedly assaulted by four boys in Deepdale Road, Kimberworth.

“The boys are believed to have been wearing hooded tops.

“The girl received treated in hospital for minor injuries.”

Anyone with information about the incident, or the identity of the culprits, should contact police by dialling 101, quoting incident number 154 of September 5.
