Pair charged over East Herringthorpe murder

TWO people appeared in court charged with the murder of a 44-year-old man stabbed to death on Thursday night.

Mark Stocks (39) and Donna Haylock (45) were arrested following the death of George Dunn in East Herringthorpe.

Mr Dunn — known to family and friends as Jock — died from multiple stab wounds, a postmortem confirmed.

Stocks and Haylock, both of Greenfield Road, were remanded in custody after appearing before magistrates in Rotherham yesterday.
