New CCTV images of missing Joshua Oxley (12)

POLICE have issued a CCTV image of Joshua Oxley in his school uniform as they continue to appeal for information regarding his whereabouts.

South Yorkshire Police issued the image of the 12-year-old Winterhill School pupil ahead of a press conference related to his disappreance this lunchtime.

Joshua was last seen around 4.30pm yesterday near to the roundabout over junction 35 of the M1 at Thorpe Hesley.

Inspector Abdul Aziz, from Rotherham District Police, said: “We, along with his family, are growing increasingly concerned for his safety.”

Joshua is a white male around 4ft 6ins tall, with a slim build and short, light brown coloured hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101 and quote incident number 720 from September 22.
