Moorgate sex attacks latest: man charged with four rapes

A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with two sex attacks in Rotherham.

Nicholas Totty, of Newman Road, Rotherham, is due to appear before Magistrates today charged with four counts of rape.

He also faces one count of section 18 wounding with intent, one count of section 20 wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent, one count of section 39 common assault and one count of committing grievous bodily harm.

The first incident happened at around 11.30pm on Fridaywhen a 27-year-old woman was attacked and sexually assaulted in Moorgate Road.

Police were made aware of the second incident around 1am on Saturday

Two women had been seriously assaulted at an address in Rotherham. One of the females, the younger of the two, had also been subjected to a serious sexual assault.
