Man's "jaw broken" during raid on his home

DETECTIVES hunting robbers who left a man with a suspected broken jaw after forcing their way into his home have released an e-fit of one of the suspects.

Two men in dark clothing knocked at the door of the property in East Herringthorpe, threatened the occupants and demanded money.

Cash and a mobile phone were taken in the incident in Lady Oak Road shortly before 8.30pm on Wednesday, January 27.

The suspects are described as white and aged in the late 20s or early 30s.
