Man wanted in connection with Thurnscoe stabbing
POLICE are searching for a man following a serious assault in which a 33-year-old sustained stab wounds.
Posters featuring Steven Watkins (29) are being circulated in the Thurnscoe area following the incident in Houghton Road in the town on September 28.
The victim was hospitalised but has since been released.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Police have been carrying out extensive searches in the area to find Steven Watkins and have carried out a number of search warrants at addresses in Thurnscoe, to no avail.

Hide Ad“Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team will circulate posters of Watkins to all local shops, pubs and other public areas.”
