Man sought after Swinton armed robbery

Officers hope the individual pictured — wearing a black jacket with distinctive blue and white flashes — can help them with inquiries into the attack.

A man walked into the Londis store on Church Street, Swinton at around 8.45pm on Saturday, January 10.

It is thought he threatened staff with a handgun and demanded cash from the till, but left empty-handed when challenged by another staff member.

The man is thought to have left in the direction of Highfield Road, Swinton.

Police urge anyone with information on the crime or the man pictured to contact them on 101, quoting incident 980 of January 10.
