Man rescued from house blaze
A MAN was rescued from a house fire in Brinsworth on Friday night.
He was given oxygen at the scene after fire crews were called to Brinsworth Lane.
A fire service spokeswoman said food had been left in the cooker and caught fire.
Firefighters also attended a car fire on Queen Street, Swinton, shortly before 9pm on Friday and a caravan blaze on Sunday.
Both were started deliberately.
