Knifepoint robbery at village store
THREE men robbed a village convenience store threatening a cashier at knifepoint before fleeing with cash.
Greystones Store on Greystones Road, Whiston, was robbed yesterday (Wednesday) at 4.34pm.
“It is reported that three men entered the store brandishing a knife and threatened the cashier for money,” said a police spokeswoman.
“The men are then believed to have fled the scene in a dark coloured vehicle with an unknown amount of cash.”
