Knife-wielding men in Hallowe’en masks attempt to rob couple at home

The two men entered the property on West Bawtry Road in the early hours of this morning (October 30) and demanded access to a safe.

The incident occurred just after midnight.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the occupants refused to give the robbers access to the safe and the men fled.

The homeowners were not injured during the incident.

The two suspects  are described as slender, wearing dark clothing and Hallowe’en masks.
