Kimberworth supermarket targeted by thieves

POLICE are investigating after a supermarket in Kimberworth was broken into.

Officers were called to the supermarket, in St John's Green, at about 3.10am on Tuesday after the shop alarm went off.

A spokeswoman said: “Five men broke into the store and stole a quantity of alcohol and cigarettes.

“Enquiries to identify those involved remain ongoing and CCTV footage will now be analysed.”
