Horses safe after barn fire
FIREFIGHTERS prevented a barn fire spreading to a neighbouring wooden building containing horses.
Three fire engines were called to Alexandra Road in Swallownest at 10.30pm on Monday.
A fire service spokeswoman said the cause was under investigation on Tuesday morning.
