Guns found at Eastwood

POLICE investigating drugs supply in Eastwood have recovered two guns.

The firearms are being forensically tested after being discovered on Thursday evening.

Sgt Denis Plaistow described the find as a great result for the force.

He added: “Every weapon we remove from the streets is one less that can end up in potential criminal circulation.

“I would encourage anyone who may have any information regarding suspected criminal activity in their local community to please contact the police.”
