Four charged following meth drugs bust

THREE men and one woman have been charged in connection with an alleged methamphetamine cooking operation following a raid.

Nehdi Tajabidi (31), of Broom Valley Road, Mehdi Esmacpoor (38), of Farm Drive, Rawmarsh, Luliana Otaraseanu, (30) of Manor Fields Close, Kimberworth, and Mohammed Chernarli (30) of Mary Hill Road, Glasgow, appeared at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with conspiracy to produce class A drugs.

All four have been remanded in custody to appear before Sheffield Crown Court on June 23.

South Yorkshire Police, supported by firefighters and ambulance crews, executed a warrant in Broom Valley Road on Tuesday on the home of a suspected methamphetamine producer.

A quantity of suspected controlled drugs was seized during the operation.
