“More than 50 officers from Doncaster, as well as specialist firearms and roads policing officers, were involved in what has been a very successful operation.

“We have seized a number of firearms as well as removing significant quantities of drugs from the streets of Doncaster, disrupting organised criminality and making the local community a better place for our residents to live and work.”

Supt Natalie Shaw said: “This is by no means the end of our work to identify and apprehend those dealing in drugs and bringing criminality to our community.

“Our enquiries will continue and we are committed to responding to residents’ concerns about these issues.
