Firefighters tackle car fire

Firefighters were called to Packman Lane, Harthill, at around 10.45pm on Thursday.

A fire service spokesman said the car had been dumped and then set alight.

A crew from Maltby was also called to an “out-of-control” garden fire on Grange Lane, Maltby, at around 9.50pm.

They spent around half-an-hour at the scene.
