Fire crews tackling bungalow blaze

FIRE crews are currently tackling a fire at a home in North Anston.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue (SYFR) were called to the semi-detached bungalow on Wentworth Way at 7.20am this morning.

A spokeswoman for SYFR said the whole roof of the property was well alight and crews from Anston, Maltby and Rotherham attended.

The aerial ladder platform was used to reach the fire in the roof void.

At around 9.30am one fire crew had left and the spokeswoman said at present there were no reports of any injuries.
