Eastwood men on drugs charges

THREE Eastwood men have appeared in court charged with alleged drug offences.

Omar Ali and Nafees Alam, both 22 and both of Selwyn Street, and Nabeel Arshad (24) of Eldon Road, appeared at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (March 25).

The men were charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine).

They have been remanded into custody to appear before Sheffield Crown Court at a later date.

A warrant was executed in Flanderwell by South Yorkshire Police earlier this week and a quantity of Class A drugs was recovered.
