POLICE are hoping to trace the owner of stolen machinery recovered from a house in Ferham.

Officers executed a warrant in Josephine Road and found the tools, including Stihl hedge trimmer and an Atlas Copco power pack.

A 38-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of theft on May 7. They were bailed pending further enquiries.

A police spokesman said: “The tools have been marked by their owners and police would like to hear from you if you believe they are yours. You will need to provide details of the markings on the tools.”

Call 101 and leave a message for PC Fowler at Rotherham’s Main Street station.
