Deliberate fires in Wingfield
A MATTRESS and a wheelie bin were deliberately torched in a subway on Thursday evening.
Firefighters were called to the incident in Grayson Road, Wingfield at 8.30pm.
A crew from Rotherham station attended the blaze, which was brought under control within half and hour.
The crew was then called at 9.15pm to an accidental chip pan fire at a property on Dike Walk, Wingfield.
The fire was out on arrival.
