Crews attend two blazes at St Ann's and Eastwood
FIRE crews responded to two accidental blazes yesterday.
Three appliances attended a flat in Catterick House on Cottenham Road, St Ann’s at around 9.15am.
Firefighters spent almost 90 minutes putting out the fire — the last team left the scene at about 10.40am.

Hide AdOne crew from Rotherham fire station tackled a burning car on Fitzwilliam Road, Eastwood during the evening.
Firefighters took just 15 minutes to extinguish the vehicle, which was stopped outside Gala Bingo at around 5.15pm when smoke and flames came from under the bonnet.
The car is thought to have suffered engine failure.
