Crew tackles East Herringthorpe fire
A SKIP fire was tackled by Rotherham firefighters on Wednesday (July 2) night.
The blaze – which was started deliberately – occurred on Lady Oak Road in East Herringthorpe.
The fire brigade took half an hour to deal with the fire.
Firefighters were also called to a burning shed on Osberton Way, Dalton, on the night.
Maltby and Dearne fire crews attended but the fire was out on arrival.
