Cooking causes Kimberworth house blaze
A LATE night cooking related incident left a woman’s kitchen ablaze this week.
Firefighters were called to the flat on Hill Top Lane at Kimberworth at 10.30pm on Wednesday.
The woman in her 50s had already got herself out of the ground floor property by the time crews from Rotherham and Elm station had arrived.
The fire was brought under control within half an hour with a hose reel and fans were used to clear the excess smoke.
