CCTV images realised in connection with Parkgate rape investigation

DETECTIVES have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with a rape.

Investigators think that the man can help them with inquiries into the attack, which happened in Parkgate on August 9.

A 31-year-old woman was approached by a man at the junction of Broad Street and Wannop Street at around 11.40pm.

He then took her to a car park on nearby Greasbrough Road and assaulted her until around 12.30am.

Officers urge anyone who recognises the man in these images to call police on 101, quoting incident number 33 of August 10.
