Body found in search for missing Rotherham man
POLICE searching for missing Rotherham man Craig Hammond found a body this morning (Friday).
Mr Hammond (49) was last seen in the Swallownest area on the morning of March 21.
The body was discovered close to Highfields Lane in Sheffield at 9.15am, South Yorkshire Police said.
A spokesperson added: “While formal identification has not yet taken place, officers do believe it to be that of Craig.
“His family have been informed and are being supported.”
