Bin fire spreads to adjacent roof

A WHEELY bin fire which spread to the roof an adjacent derelict property was started deliberately, firefighters have revealed.

Two fire engines from Dearne Station were called to the incident on Queen Street in Swinton at 8pm last night.

After using a hose reel on the blaze, the fire crews left at 9.10pm.
