Police today renewed their appeal for information about a safe stolen in the raid on October 1.

The safe, which is light grey and has a key lock, is just big enough to accommodate A4 documents and weighs around 7kg.

Two 19-year-old men were arrested last week on suspicion of attempted murder and burglary and released on police bail.

Police said that Mr Ward remained “very unwell” in hospital and has not regained consciousness.
