Appeal for help after jewellery stolen in burglary

BURGLARS stole distinctive jewellery during a break-in.

A large amount of jewellery was taken from a home in Herringthorpe Valley Road, on the morning of Wednesday, March 2.

Among the items stolen was a distinctive Tag Carrera watch and a ladies’ Armani watch, which was inscribed with ‘Happy 50th’ on the back.

A black Vauxhall Astra was reported near to the scene that morning, and police are keen to speak to anyone who saw it or knows who it might belong to.
