200 plant cannabis farm shut down in Kimberworth

MORE than £10,000 of cannabis was seized from a house in Kimberworth.

Officers carried out a raid at an address on Richmond Road on Monday and found more than 200 plants.

A spokesman said the electricity system had also been illegally by-passed, making the property “extremely dangerous”.

He added the drugs will be destroyed and the electricity system had been made safe.

No-one has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries remain ongoing.
