Councils team up to tackle waste

COUNCILS across South Yorkshire have joined forces to plan how they deal with waste across the county.

Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster and Sheffield councils have teamed up to produce a South Yorkshire Waste Strategy.

It will look at how waste can be managed and how services and resources can be used more effectively.

The councils now want to hear from people across the county to help them decide on the priorities.
