Conisbrough Library’s bid for volunteers

A LIBRARY is holding an open day on Saturday as part of their recruitment drive for volunteers.

Conisbrough Library will go over to being volunteer run later on this year and it is estimated that they will need up to 60 people to come forward to volunteer in order for it to stay open.

Staff and volunteers from Balby Community Library will be on hand to show people around the building and talk about the work that they do and there will be regular story sessions for children between 11am and 1pm.

The library will be open from 10am to 3pm and there will be presentations at 10am, noon and 2pm for interested parties.
