A police spokesman said: “This in itself is out of the ordinary and very out of character for Anne.

“There has been no contact or sightings since yesterday evening and officers are becoming increasingly worried for her welfare.

“It’s believed Anne may be wearing a light brown anorak-type jacket with a faux fur hood and carrying a dark handbag.”

Anne is described as 5ft 3ins tall and is of average build with a slight stooped back.

Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting incident 414 of June 15.
