Coldest day of winter on the way
TEMPERATURES could struggle to get above freezing today (Thursday) with forecasters predicting the coldest day of the winter.
The Met Office said it will remain cloudy throughout the day with mist and fog patches.
It said the maximum temperature was 2°C with strong winds making it feel even colder.
A widespread frost is likely overnight into Friday with temperatures falling as low as -4 °C.
