Cigarette causes scrapyard blaze
THREE cars were destroyed in an accidental blaze at a scrapyard in Canklow.
Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to Fullerton Road on Saturday at 4.30pm where a Skoda Octavia, a Toyota Avensis and a Vauxhall Astra were on fire, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
They left the scene at 5.05pm and the fire was caused by discarded smoking materials, the spokeswoman said.
