The pair, lifelong fans of Rotherham, have referenced the Millers frequently in episodes of the series, which was first broadcasted in 1987. In 2007, they were even made honorary life presidents of the club.

Rotherham have played home fixtures out of town at Sheffield's Don Valley Stadium since 2008, but will move into their new 12,000 capacity ground in time for the 2012/13 season.

The new community stadium, which will utilise polycarbonate technologies that both improve acoustics and allow natural light to enter the ground, will be located within easy walking distance of Rotherham's central train station and bus interchange.

As well as providing the Millers with a state-of-the-art footballing venue, the New York Stadium will feature exhibition and banqueting spaces for around 600 corporate guests.

The Chuckle Brothers will be taking their Return of the Pirates of the River Rother tour across the country, with dates confirmed from March to September.
