Chocolate experts show off their talents: PICTURES

SPECIALIST chocolatiers Butterflies and Angels have opened their first shop in Bolton-upon-Dearne.

The opening was marked with a party at the Station Road premises where customers can watch the award-winning chocolates being made.

Master chocolatier Abbie James said: “People are constantly amazed by how much work goes into our creations and the techniques we use in an industry that is predominated by mass produced, machine made confections.

“We use only the highest grade Belgian chocolate and locally-sourced ingredients with no artificial additives, preservatives or flavours so customers finally get to find out what ‘real’ chocolate tastes like.

“Chocolatiers are a rarity in the UK and the artisan techniques we use are all too often replaced with mass produced confections churned out of production lines.

“We want people to know how real chocolate and patisserie creations are made and feel that this is an opportunity for the people of South Yorkshire to experience this rare art form without a trip to the continent.”
