Children mark VE Day in style
FUN was had by all as school pupils marked the 70th anniversary of VE Day.
Youngsters at Greasbrough Primary School took part in the event on Friday and donned red, white and blue for the patriotic occasion.
Staff wore 1940s attire for the day.
There was a street party and a number of veterans from the war were invited.
The children had been learning 1940s songs to sing on the day.
