Car left unidentifiable after arson attack

AN arson attack on a car left it so severely damaged fire crews were unable to determine its model.

The vehicle was parked on Lansbury Avenue, Maltby, when it was set alight at around 2.20am on Wednesday.

A crew from Maltby station attended and left the scene at 3.20am.

A spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the car was believed to have been a Vauxhall Corsa but it was so badly damaged it was hard to tell.
